Anxiety | A Kill Joy – Corrie Vallance Consultations

I have horrible anxiety! It’s a terrible, diminishing and deathly feeling which no one can survive without the Lord. I always read this verse allowed and it truly helps calms my nerves… Maybe it can help someone else!

Philippians 4:6-7

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Try and speak to your doctor’s if you are dealing with troublesome anxiety symptoms such as moodiness, depression or sudden onset of anxiety for no reason as these could be a symptoms of more serious health issues.

I also would encourage believers to speak to the Lord about it as well! The Lord is much more interested in having a normal conversation with us than most people think! Just tell Him how you’ve been feeling and how aggravating it is! Scream at him if you have to! He’s listening! And then… Ask Him to heal you. He will in His own time.

But speaking to our Heavenly Father helps comfort our spirit! That’s why He is called the”Comforter” He is also our Healer and our Provider!

John 14:26

26 But the [a]Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—Counselor, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will help you remember everything that I have told you.

When we cry out in anxst to our Heavenly Father and LET GO of the problem we are having; (even if we don’t know what the problem is) the Lord will work for our GOOD in ALL THINGS! HE PROMISED US THIS!

Romans 8:26-27

26 And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words.27 And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with God’s own will.28 And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.

The whole chapter 8 in Romans is a wonderful chapter to read about God helping us with our struggles! He promised us these things! When TOKOGAE “Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil” or “Sin” fills our mind, calling in Jesus can solve many issues for us! Hallelujah for the GRACE of God!

He promises to fill our hearts and minds with PEACE!

Romans 8:9-11

But you are NOT controlled by your sinful nature. You are controlled by the Spirit if you have the Spirit of God living in you. (And remember that those who do not have the Spirit of Christ living in them do not belong to him at all.) 10 And Christ lives within you, so even though your body will die because of sin, the Spirit gives you life because you have been made right with God. 11 The SAME Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in YOU! And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you.

It feels like anxiety controls us when it comes doesn’t it? Like we are slave to it? But I tell you now! As a Believer, which makes you a walking SAINT right now! We have been released! We have been REDEEMED from Sin and now WALK IN SPIRIT! So there is no CONDEMNATION FOR US!
And anxiety has NO CONTROL ANYMORE

Today read Over Romans 8 to encourage your Spirit that you are ONE WITH GOD! We are released from worry when we believe!
